Square Now Latest Samsung SDS Cello Square to Lead Innovation at REAL Summit 2023

Hello, everyone. This is Cello Square, Samsung SDS’ digital logistics service. On September 12th, Samsung SDS hosted “REAL Summit 2023” under the theme of “Corporate Innovation Plan with GenAI” at Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas. “REAL Summit 2023” is held every year, and Samsung SDS’ key competencies and business projects this year were shared on the themes of ▲AI&DATA ▲Cloud ▲Enterprise Soutions ▲Supply Chain & Logistics ▲Finance.

At the event started by the keynote speech of President & CEO Sung-woo Hwang, Samsung SDS unveiled new tools and services that will improve workplace productivity through the adoption of generative AI. Samsung SDS showcased “Brity Copilot,” a solution for automating a wide range of tasks such as writing email/messaging/video conference minutes and data storage, as well as “FabriX,” a business platform that brings together various IT resources of a company including data, intellectual assets, and business systems so that employees can easily share and make use of such resources. The new solutions received much attention from the audience.

‘The Future of Logistics Services with AI’ by Cello Square

Cello Square highlighted two themes: “The Future of Logistics Services with AI” and “Realization of Planned Integrated Supply Chain Management,” in the “Supply Chain & Logistics” exhibition zone. Cello Square also introduced Chat GPT demonstrations that utilized GenAI and displayed its inventory management service using drones. Moreover, in the Supply Chain Innovation part where Samsung SDS collaborated with Emro and Nine Solutions, various sourcing techniques and AI-based predictions/analysis tools were used to select the optimal supplier, purchase/procure, and manage the supply chain.

In the Supply Chain & Logistics session that followed in the afternoon, Samsung SDS’ Cello Square Strategy Leader Bong-ki Choi delivered presentation on “The Future of Logistics Services with AI.” Choi elaborated on three directions of Cello Square which are “Supply Chain in Digital,” “Beyond Forwarding,” and “AI Forwarding,” drawing enthusiastic response from the audience. Ⅰ. Supply Chain in Digital Cello Square provides every work procedure of import/export logistics process in a platform. Cello Square not only provides visibility into all logistics processes from quotation to settlement, but also shares digital innovation values with its customers and partners within the digital supply chain.
